The IPC Archtec group of companies is one of the most successful organisations in mainland Europe. The IPC brand enjoys the status of the number one consumer brand in Germany for computer systems, outselling all of the major brands. In total commanding a 17% share of the German computer market.
IPC Archtec was founded in 1989 and has grown impressively, expanding into Austria, Italy and the United Kingdom. We have production plants in Czechoslovakia for desktop systems and Taiwan for our notebook computers. Under the German GmbH address, the mainland European Group of companies floated at the end of February 2000 on the German stock market.
Our products are being sold through a number of major multinational retailers, through current adverts in the major broadsheets and the higher end tabloids. The laptops we supply to such multinationals are proving to be the fastest selling computer range ever.
We have major OEM contracts with the likes of Intel, AMD, Samsung, Toshiba, Hitachi, IBM, Seagate and Microsoft amongst others. Through this you can see that our products have the best quality components, and the volumes in which we buy give us cost prices below UK companies. We then pass this on to our customers.
Our organisation believes in customer service and the quality of our products above all else. Jointly with our customers, we are driving the IPC brand forward, establishing a dominant position in the market place.
In the UK we produce the IPC brand of quality notebooks, selling direct to Retailers, VARS, Resellers and Distributors. We are also able to supply and badge notebooks under our customer’s brands if required. Because we only specialise in laptop systems, you can be assured that our staff are knowledgeable and fully trained in all aspects of these units. This allows us to carry ample components to meet any demands quickly whilst producing to high standards demanded by our customers.
