Lexington Resources, Inc. is a junior natural resource exploration company engaged in the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas properties in the mid-continental United States. Its operational focus is on horizontal gas well development initiatives in the Arkoma Basin, Oklahoma (Coal Bed Methane) and more recently, the Dallas Fort Worth Basin in Texas (Barnett Shale). Since its inception in 2003, the Company has weighted its development initiatives towards gas production.



The company is applying state of the art horizontal drilling and ‘fracing’ technology to unconventional gas plays in Coal Bed Methane gas (‘CBM’) and other shale gas production targets. Its costs of finding valuable resources are kept low to minimize capital development costs, which results in lower overall drilling risk. The company’s strategy involves concentrating on known properties in proximity to existing gas plays. In a short time, it has developed a capable operating infrastructure that rivals those of mid- and major-sized competitors in the area. This is reinforced by the fact that much larger competitors including Newfield Exploration and Chesapeake Resources have made strategic operational alignments with Lexington Resources to drill and complete wells in the Arkoma Basin and Barnett Shale regions.



Along with achieving a high success rate in drilling and production, Lexington Resources has evolved into an integrated drilling and production company by teaming with its contract operator. This enables Lexington Resources to more comprehensively control its development process and speed the rate of drilling and production initiatives. The Company acquired its100%- owned subsidiary, Oakhills Drilling and Operating, LLC, in 2006. Lexington Resources now benefits from in both service industry revenues and gas revenues from exploration and production.
