Solutronic AG

Solutronic AG, which was founded in 2004 as Solutronic GmbH by Sibylle and Wieland Scheuerle and is now located in the small town of Köngen near Stuttgart, specialises in the development and marketing of grid-connected photovoltaic inverters. From a technical point of view, inverters are the most complex, high-end elements in the solar power value chain: they take the direct current generated by the solar modules and convert it to alternating current so that it can be fed into the power supply system.

The company was set up based on a sincere desire to design and manufacture inverters that would be of a far higher quality than the standard of devices available on the market at that time. Over the last years, we have steadily expanded our product portfolio, developing a range of state-of-the-art inverters that are now being sold all round the globe. The SOLPLUS inverters with power ratings from 1.5 to 12 kW and the devices enjoy a great reputation for offering high quality, excellent efficiency, intelligent communications functions and a high level of basic equipment.

All of our products are made exclusively in Germany, where we cooperate with selected and renowned partners. By outsourcing production, we are able to focus on developing and marketing our perfected products, the core competencies of Solutronic. Wanting not merely to rely on the above-average production standards of our production partners, Solutronic not only specifies the individual components to be used but has also developed its very own test equipment for use in all process steps in the job shop. This enables Solutronic to constantly monitor and further optimise quality and to drive innovation forward.
