Today, on 27th August, AS DnB NORD Banka announced that its shareholders'
extraordinary meeting would take place on 28th September this year. One of the
items on the agenda of this shareholders' meeting is the decision about
exclusion of AS DnB NORD Banka's shares from NASDAQ OMX Riga Baltic Secondary
List considering that at present more than 99.9% belong to a single shareholder
- Bank DnB NORD AS. The shareholders' right to decide about share exclusion
from stock exchange listings is ensured by law. 

According to the stock exchange rules - to bring this information to market
players' attention - on 27th August the Board of NASDAQ OMX Riga decided to
enforce a supervision status on AS DnB NORD Banka. 

The enforcement of this status does not restrict trading in AS DnB NORD Banka's
shares. 

Additionally, DnB NORD Banka shareholders' meeting will re-elect its
Supervisory Council and introduce amendments to its articles of association,
reducing the number of its Supervisory Council to six members.
