The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– In April 2001, the airlines of the Austrian Airlines Group recorded a 9.5 % passenger growth rate on its scheduled services against the comparable period the previous year. In total, around 680,000 passengers were carried on scheduled and charter services, up by 5.2 % on 2000. While there was a 1.1 % increase in available seat kilometers on scheduled services, revenue passenger kilometers rose by 3.3 %. The passenger load factor increased by 1.5 percentage points to 68.6 %. Over the first four months of this year, the number of passengers carried on scheduled services saw a strong increase of 10.2%. This resulted in an overall passenger growth rate of 8.1 % to some 2.427 million passengers.
