Ad hoc announcement transmitted by DGAP.

——————————————————————————–
The DAS WERK AG Supervisory Board has accepted Ulrich Felsberg’s personal
request to be released from his mandate as member of the Board of Directors in
order to strengthen the excellent growth perspectives of Road Movies
Filmproduktion. In the financial year 2000, under Felsberg’s management, Road
Movies Filmproduktion increased its turnover by about 28 million marks to 39.2
million marks (an increase of 243% from 11.4 million marks in 1999). Felsberg,
manager of the Road Movies group since 1986 and member of the Board of Directors
of DAS WERK AG since August 1999, will be concentrating even more intensively
than before on the feature film productions of the Road Movies group, which is
part of the Das Werk group of companies. At present Felsberg is preparing eight
film productions, with directors including Armin Müller-Stahl, Spike Lee, Mike
Figgis, Ken Loach and Wim Wenders. In order to supervise these productions and
to secure worldwide licensing of these projects, Felsberg will be working mainly
in the USA as from August of this year.
Ulrich Felsberg will continue to support the Das Werk Group and its Board of
Directors, remaining available to the Board as permanent consultant.
Felsberg’s exclusive focus on his film production responsibilities coincides
with an expansion of the top management of the Das Werk group, which will now
include additional representatives from operational business. Das Werk’s Board
of Directors will be giving greater responsibility to management personalities
from individual companies of the group. This move is intended to reflect the
process of internationalisation started last year together with the considerable
growth of the group, and will also ensure that the leading figures in
operational business will be more fully integrated into responsibility for the
group as a whole.
