The issuer has the sole responsibility of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– – Net Sales growth of 48% vs. same quarter last year from DMm 4.8 to DMm 7.1 – Provisional EBITDA DMm -0.6 vs. DMm -1.9 in the prior year period Berlin, 04.04.2001 +++ Preliminary 3rd quarter results of Lobster Network Storage AG indicate that the company has recorded its strongest quarter in the current fiscal year 2000/01 to date. Net Sales increased by 48% to DMm 7.1, however, stayed behind the company’s objective of DMm 8.4 by 15%. The latter is due to 2 larger projects having been postponed to the current 4th quarter by prospective customers. The turnaround course of the company remains stable. Provisional EBITDA of DMm -0,6 for the quarter is considerably better than past quarter performance and represents a significant improvement vs. last year’s DMm -1.9. The company’s objective to break even in the 3rd quarter could not be met. This is now forecast for the current 4th quarter as originally planned. The company will release its official results for the 3rd quarter and the first nine months of the fiscal year 2000/01 on 28.05.2001.
