The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– After suffering a loss in 1.quarter,AGIV achieves a black zero in the 2. quarter AGIV Real Estate AG, Hamburg, continues its turnaround and concluded the second quarter of fiscal year 2003 in the Group with a black zero, based on preliminary calculations. The loss of EUR 5.9 million for the Group suffered in the first quarter was reduced in the first half of 2003 to EUR -5.2 million. Rising rent incomes, successful sales of several large properties in good and excellent locations as well as rigorous cost management contributed to substantial improvements in results compared to the previous year. The EBIT in the Group reached a positive value of EUR 16.3 million in the first six months. Sales, including other operating income, came to EUR 139.9 million in the first half of the year according to the preliminary calculations. Sales, including other operating income, for the entire fiscal year 2002 amounted to EUR 211.3 million.
