Vivendi Universal – eJays new marketing partner
for USA and Canada
Sales volume: 10 million DM
Stuttgart, September 4, 2001. eJay AG, the global supplier of music
entertainment solutions based in Stuttgart, has joined ventures with Vivendi
Universal Interactive Publishing, Los Angeles, a high-calibre, strategic partner
which will market eJays music software in the USA and Canada. Besides the
distribution responsibilities, Vivendi Universal will also take over (as of
01.10.2001) the marketing and production of software for the above mentioned
markets. The term of contract is set for 3 years.
Thanks to the excellent market position of Vivendi Universal, eJay is looking
forward to a resounding success in the USA and Canada. The planned sales for the
first eight months alone has been calculated to approx. ten million DM.
Following on from the successful contract conclusion between eJay and Acclaim
for the German market, eJay has now managed with Vivendi Universal to win
another important partner for its company. Due to this massive expansion of the
US business, the company has continued to push ahead with its announced strategy
of territorial growth. This is yet another positive sign of the planned
increase in sales and eJays continued efforts to return to profitability.
