Forstædernes Bank A/S has decided to redeem subordinate capital in the amount
of DKK 100,000,000 as at 7 April 2009. The capital securities are redeemed at
par. 

The redemption will reduce the Bank's capital adequacy ratio from 15.5% to
15.2% as at 31 December 2008, including recognised profit. 

The ISIN of the capital securities is DK000344966-8.
