——————————————————————————
New York, April 26, 2005: FortuneCity.com Inc. (“FortuneCity”) announced today
the expansion of its relationship with FHM Magazin.
Ampira Media, the Hamburg based European division of FortuneCity, and Attic
Futura Men’s Media GmbH in Munich, the publisher of Germany’s leading
lifestyle magazine for men, FHM Deutschland, have signed a far reaching
extension to the current working relationship.
Ampira Media has been FHM’s exclusive online media sales representative in
Germany since 2003. FHM selected Ampira Media to expand the portfolio of
responsibilities in order to reposition and build the FHM brand on the
Internet. Under this new relationship, Ampira will leverage its online
marketing, brand positioning and promotional expertise to maximize the
potential of the strong FHM’s unique magazine brand value and its unique
content offerings. Ampira will be responsible for all aspects of FHM’s online
product, from concept, design and technology, to marketing, business
development and media sales. The Ampira and Attic FHM teams will work closely
to take full advantage of the strengths of both groups.
“We are very excited about this new relationship” says Michael Meisterling,
FortuneCity’s European Vice President of Marketing and Strategy. “We have
enjoyed a tremendous working relationship with FHM in the media sales field
for some time now, and see a huge potential to increase their product offering
online. We are currently working on a complete overhaul of the online product
that will bridge the gap between the offline and online experiences in ways
not currently seen in this market segment”.
“We are very happy with the development of media sales through Ampira” says
Armin Hierstetter, Publishing Director FHM. “At Attic we focus on publishing
successful print magazines and from our relationship with Ampira we have seen
that they can add significant value by turning the FHM-content we provide into
an even more thrilling and user-friendly online portal for young men aged 18-
35 years. This creates outstanding opportunities for co-operations in various
fields and supports our brand online.”
