Already in its adhoc-message of 12.12.01 the company pointed out that a capital increase necessary for continuation of operations would not work out as planned until end of december. Following todays evaluation of all alternative actions the board came to the conclusion that filing for bankruptcy protection is the best way forward in order to protect the interests of creditors, shareholders and employees of the company. The company still has sufficient cash to remain able to act during the preliminary insolvency procedure. Moreover, the board intends to proceed with his talks with potential investors and to bring them to a successful end.
