In a meeting on 11 February 2009, the Board of Directors of DnB NOR ASA
appointed Tor Steenfeldt-Foss as group EVP, Group Audit and new head of Group
Audit. He will assume the position in June this year. Steenfeldt-Foss (44) is a
business graduate, state-authorised public accountant (Norway) and certified
internal auditor. Today, he is a partner in the auditing firm Ernst & Young and
also has internal audit experience. The current group chief audit executive,
Harald Jægtnes, has asked to be assigned other tasks in the Group after
seventeen years in the position.
