Creditors’ Committee approves intended Sale of Business
The creditors’ committee in the insolvency proceedings on pgam advanced
technologies AG approved today that the receiver sells the business of the
company as well as the factory premises in Georgsmarienhütte and the
subsidiaries Indikar Individual Karosseriebau GmbH, Wilkau-Haßlau, and pgam
advanced technologies Ltd. UK to Farmingtons-Group. A corresponding offer with
several conditions by Farmingtons-Group has been presented to the receiver.
The transaction will have a purchase price volume of approx. EUR 9 mio.
Besides this the insolvency estate comprises of proceeds from further sales
already obtained in the course of the continuation of the company’s business
as well as of expected proceeds from the sale of the remaining assets. A
specification of the expected insolvency quota for the non-subordinated
insolvency creditors (section 38 InsO) is not yet possible. However, the
creditors’ claims will not be fulfilled in total and pgam advanced
technologies AG will be liquidated.
