With effect from December 2008, Ringkjøbing Landbobank A/S has established an   
EMTN (Euro Medium Term Notes) programme. The programme is listed on the         
Luxembourg Stock Exchange, and the bank is able to issue bonds to the equivalent
of up to EUR 2 billion under the programme.                                     

The EMTN programme was set up by Société Générale, and in addition to Société   
Générale, dealers under the programme are Danske Bank, Landesbank               
Baden-Württemberg, Nordea Bank Danmark, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich and   
the Royal Bank of Scotland.                                                     

The long-term aim of the EMTN programme is to diversify the bank's funding      
options. The date of the first issue under the programme has not yet been fixed.
