The Danish government has provided a two-year guarantee for all deposits with   
and unsecured claims against Danish financial institutions. The guarantee is    
managed and financed by the Det Private Beredskab (the Sector Fund).            

Ringkjøbing Landbobank A/S has today decided to confirm its membership of the   
Sector Fund. This implies the bank will be covered by the guarantee which runs  
from October 6, 2008 until September 30, 2010.                                  

Ringkjøbing Landbobank A/S share of the payment of the annual guarantee         
commission will not change the indicated expected earnings for year 2008.
