The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Positive interim decision from the leading organisations of the health insurers The leading organisations of the health insurance companies are responsible for the establishment of the list of technical aids which lists aids which have been approved for reimbursement and includes fixed or agreed prices. With regard to the inclusion of the needle-free injection system INJEX(tm) in this list, the IKK national association has informed Rösch AG Medizintechnik (SIN 529 140), Berlin, in writing on November 22, 2001, that the leading organisations had consulted one another and reached the conclusion that the INJEX(tm) system is, in principle, an aid in line with section 33 SGB V, following testing of the product by the medical service with regard to functionality, therapeutic benefit and quality. From the current viewpoint, the preconditions for inclusion of the product in the list of technical aids have been fulfilled, subject to payment-related matters yet to be specified and on consultation of the basic quality standards already published in the list of technical aids as well as the general preconditions for inclusion of new aids in line with section 139 subsection 2 SGB V. If no new findings result in the context of the updating of the new product group 03 “application aids”, an inclusion of the product in the list of technical aids and thus issue of a ten-digit item number can occur, following completion. Rösch AG will then receive the final decision on this issue. Following this positive interim decision Rösch AG will commence negotiations with the individual health insurance companies to conclude supply agreements. On receipt of the final decision from the leading organisations the supply of INJEX(tm) systems can then be effected in the context of reimbursement, on the basis of these supply agreements.
