Registration of health insurance for INJEX TM, syringe without a needle, for Ger Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– The national association of the health insurance companies in Germany, represented by the IKK Bundesverband is responsible for the establishment of the list of technical aids (§ 128 SGB V) which summarises those which have been approved for reimbursement through the health insurers. INJEX TM has been evaluated by the medical service of the insurance companies (MDS) with regard to functionality, therapeutic benefit and quality. The national association of the insurance companies Germany came to the conclusion that the conditions for inclusion of the INJEX TM in this list have been fulfilled in line with § 139 subsection 2 SGB V. Dated April 30, 2002, received at Rösch AG on May 2, 2002 the IKK Bundesverband informed Rösch AG Medizintechnik (SIN 529 140) about inclusion of the INJEX TM system into this medical technical aids list including the respective position number. Thus the conditions for reimbursement by the health insurance companies in Germany are fulfilled. There is no restriction of indications for the usage of the INJEX TM system in this approval. The INJEX TM system, the syringe without a needle, is the most popular product, especially developed for diabetic patients as painless alternative for applying insulin.
