Following the authorization by its extraordinary annual shareholders'
meeting held on 04 September 2008, TIG Themis Industries Group GmbH & Co.
KGaA will initially buy back up to five percent of the company's ordinary
share capital (up to 266,601 of the nominal shares). This was decided today
by the executive board of the general partner and the supervisory board of
the company.

The repurchased shares may be used for all purposes defined and agreed on
by the extraordinary annual shareholders' meeting, such as the later
withdrawal, as acquisition currency or for the disposal of the shares. The
shares may also be used to service a stock option plan.

The share buy-back will be executed via the stock exchange and during the
period 9 June 2009 to 30 October 2009. According to the authorization of
the shareholders' meeting, the purchase price per share paid by TIG cannot
exceed or fall short by more than ten percent of the average closing price
of the last three trading days on Xetra.

According to the decision of the executive board of the general partner and
the supervisory board of the company, the share buy-back shall be carried
out by a commercial bank, which will decide on the timing of single
buy-backs independently and uninfluenced by TIG.
