In the course of the redirection of the company into the market segment
“mobile content for adults”, implemented by the acquisition of the Swiss
content provider Lawa International Holding AG, Wapme Systems AG has
substantially enforcing itself by appointing Peter Kirn and Roger Bigger to
the supervisory board.
Former supervisory board members Karl Gruns, chairman of the suopervisory
board, Ekkehart Gerlach and Jochen Pläcking will leave the supervisory on the
31. Dezember 2004. The resignation is essentially justified by the focus on
erotic content in the context of the Lawa acquisition.
The district court Düsseldorf has appointed the suggested Roger Bigger and
Peter Kirn to the supervisory board today. Peter Kirn will take over the
position as designated chairman of the supervisory board. The board of
directors will suggest the sharholders meeting, to confirm these appointments.
Peter Kirn and Roger Bigger will significantly contribute to the enforcement
of the company. The appointment of Mr. Kirn, who provides a profound 30-year
IBM experience, will add market- and management expertise to the company. Mr.
Bigger will support the company with his investment banker experience, gained
at Swiss major banks and with his network in the financial sector.
