Melsungen, September 3, 2013. B. Braun has filed an application with the German Federal Cartel Agency (‘Bundeskartellamt’) to approve an increase of its shareholding in Rhoen Klinikum AG. With such an approval by the Federal Cartel Agency, B. Braun would have the possibility to increase its share in the private hospital chain Rhoen Klinikum AG to 25% and more. B. Braun commented that it remains committed to sustainably secure the minority shareholding position in Rhoen Klinikum AG. B.
