BGI EcoTech AG: Extraordinary general meeting resolves significant approval
for further capital measures and renaming as 'Ralos New Energies'

Griesheim, 20 January 2010: BGI EcoTech AG, which operates in the area of
regenerative energies, particularly photovoltaics, held an extraordinary
general meeting in Frankfurt/Main on 14 January 2010. Around 58% of the
share capital was represented, corresponding to EUR 4.94 million of EUR
8.58 million.

The shareholders present at the general meeting approved all proposals of
the Supervisory Board and the Board of Directors with a large majority.
Thus, far reaching resolutions for capital increases (authorised and
contingent capital) were passed in order to prepare to push the company's
future growth. In terms of the capital market, the way was cleared for the
move to a stock market segment with more stringent regulations (Geregelter
Markt) to better address the requirements of international investors.

It was also resolved to rename 'BGI EcoTech AG' to 'Ralos New Energies AG'.
The Board of Directors is confident that the new name better expresses the
company's focus on global renewable energies markets while using the
well-established 'Ralos' brand. The Board also presented a number of new
projects currently being implemented in Germany and abroad. The project
pipeline is well stocked overall for this year with a total output of more
than 140 MWp.

In light of this, the extraordinary general meeting was marked by a
positive general atmosphere. This was no doubt helped by the announcement a
few days ago of record orders on hand of EUR 32 million, the reiteration of
the record forecast for 2010 and the conversion of liabilities into equity
by a member of the Board of Directors.
