Central Kimberley Diamonds Ltd. / Miscellaneous Release of a Corporate News, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG. The issuer / publisher is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- West Perth, June 20, 2007 – The junior diamond exploration company Central Kimberley Diamonds Ltd, is delighted to announce the discovery of diamonds from the company’s flagship exploration project in Plooysburg, South Africa. Since the companies initial listing onto the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in early January, the discovery of diamonds in just six months represents a significant breakthrough for Central Kimberley Diamonds. The company reported the finding of gem quality diamonds during the treatment of the 15,000 tonnes of gravel concentrates removed from the second Plooysburg pit, which is located about two kilometres from the original diamond discovery site. The company expects to finish the treatment of these concentrates in the upcoming weeks and is currently surveying the third pit located about 4 kilometres downstream. Central Kimberley Diamonds will start excavation there as soon as finishing with the sampling of the second pit. At the same time, the company is continuing to put together equipment to carry on the exploration program. The arrival of the new company excavator should greatly improve the pace of the program and the contracts to purchase two more trucks are expected to be secured in the next few weeks. James Lehman, CEO of Central Kimberley Diamonds, remarked on the latest discovery: 'We have had a few delays with personnel and equipment over the past four months but this new discovery shows that we are not only on the right tract but also ahead of schedule,' Lehman said. 'It is early days and in terms of the overall viability of the project and we still have a further 8.8 kilometres of river bed to test, all in all, finding diamonds in such a small surface area is a very good result. It is currently an extremely exciting time for Central Kimberley Diamonds and we are tremendously pleased with these latest results.' Central Kimberley Diamonds continues its negotiations with Delta Mining Corporation, a company which assets one of the most modern cutting and polishing factories in the world. 'With our company’s extensive experience in the marketing of modern diamonds we look forward to being able to maximise the returns on our own production', Lehman concluded.
