DGAP-News: ENTRADE Energiesysteme AG / Key word(s): Conference “Startup Europe comes to Silicon Valley” – ENTRADE AG presents its E3 micro power station at international business congress Selected European companies exhibit pioneering technologies in California Düsseldorf / Mountain View. – “Unicorns” is the name given to fast-growing enterprises which have the potential to drive forward progress with new technologies and to develop into global leaders within their own industry. Fifteen such technological leaders of the future – all of them past the start-up stage and already employing a workforce of up to 200 – have been selected to present their products and business models at the “Startup Europe comes to Silicon Valley” congress in California from 21 to 25 September, in the presence of prominent representatives of the worlds of business and politics. ENTRADE Energiesysteme AG will be presenting what Europe has achieved in the renewable energies industry. Around 700 participants are expected for the congress, which is sponsored by such global players as Microsoft, Telecom Italia, Pfizer and ENEL, and will be opened by Italy’s Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. “It’s a major honour for us to be one of the selected 15 European enterprises which are regarded as having such great potential”, states Julien Uhlig, CEO of ENTRADE Energiesysteme AG. “However, for us the most important aspect of this event is the opportunity to find cooperation partners who will be able to accompany and support us on the way forward. Regenerative waste materials are to be found everywhere, and in many countries the demand for renewable energies is only just beginning.” The energy supply of the future: electricity, heating, cooling – anytime – anywhere The E3 is the world’s smallest power station. Fuelled by biomass pellets its high-temperature reactor generates a synthesis gas, which in turn drives an internal combustion motor. This generates a rated electrical output of 25 kW and thermal output of 60 kW or cooling output of 30 kW. Compared with other energy generating sources, either conventional or renewable, the power provided by the E3 is internationally competitive. This power can be consumed locally or fed into the public grid, while the thermal energy which is generated can be used for heating or cooling purposes.
