Highlights of the attached interim report for the third quarter of 2009 of Alm.
Brand Pantebreve A/S: 

* Alm. Brand Pantebreve A/S posted a loss of DKK 67.2 million before tax in Q3
2009, against a loss of DKK 19.2 million in the same period of last year. 

* This unsatisfactory performance was attributable to the adverse economic
climate, which has resulted in credit losses and necessitated writedowns on the
company's mortgage deeds. 

* The volume of arrears over the past 12 months did not increase in general but
there was an increase in the need to make impairment writedowns, particularly
on private mortgage deeds in arrears. 

* The performance was favourably affected by an unrealised gain on the mortgage
deed portfolio, primarily as a result of the falling interest rates, and by
gains on forward exchange contracts and derivative financial instruments. 

* Shareholders' equity stood at DKK 149 million at 30 September 2009, against
DKK 216 million at 30 June 2009. Net asset value was DKK 90.80 at 30 September
2009, compared with DKK 130.80 at 30 June 2009. 

* As a result of the reduction of shareholders' equity, the company currently
has an equity gearing of 9.9, compared with a target gearing of 7.0. 

* The company lowers its guidance from a full-year loss of between DKK 25
million and DKK 35 million to a loss of around DKK 110 million.
