This will lead to a significantly optimized operations structure and enable the company to produce very economically. Zug/Switzerland, November 13, 2007: New African Mining (NAM) has commissioned a state of the art diamond processing plant for its Kamfersdam dump recovery in Kimberley/South Africa. The plant is a combination of pan and DMS technology that ensures maximum extraction of diamonds. It also re-circulates the processed material to ensure maximum recovery of diamonds that may have been missed out in the initial process. The transportable plant will start producing diamonds no later than December 2007. NAM has also made extensive security arrangements in the Kamfersdam mine to ensure that there is no loss of diamonds. Final recovery section is a hands-off system and only senior staff is allowed to handle diamonds. High resolution cameras will be installed at strategic points to monitor all activities. This will all lead to very high security levels. Furthermore, the company has managed to secure the services of a plant manager with 12 years of experience in operating diamond processing plants, specifically on dump recovery operations.
