Recyc Commodities SE / Key word(s): Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous 20.05.2011 / 20:00 (Karlsruhe, May 20th, 2011) The Provaluta AG, the 83 % subsidiary of Recyc Commodities SE, based in Mannheim, is to begin to purchase and recycle spent catalysts in northern Germany. For this reason, the newly founded Hansekat Recycling GmbH in Reinbeck, near Hamburg, has installed an ultra-modern facility for separating used motor vehicle catalytic converters. Recyc Commodities SE is via Provaluta AG a 50 % shareholder of the Hamburg based company. The remaining 50 % of Hansekat Recycling GmbH is held by ETH Umwelttechnik GmbH, Hamburg. The company based in northern Germany, is a strategic partner for the marketing and sales activities in the Middle East and for assembly centers in Germany. In the medium term future, the establishment of an appropriate network in further countries is scheduled, in order to better access to the coveted scrap metal. Initial investments will be made by both Hansekat shareholders, Recyc Commodities SE via Provaluta AG and ETH Umwelttechnik GmbH.
