Rickmers Group publishes Annual Report 2015
 

Hamburg, 30 March 2016 – The Rickmers Group today publishes its Annual Report for the 2015 financial year. The Report confirms the financial key figures already published on 14 March and explains these in detail.

Consolidated revenues rose by 7.6 percent to reach EUR 587.0 million, while the operating result (EBITDA) improved by 20.8 percent to EUR 253.1 million. Before net impairments on vessels the Rickmers Group reports consolidated net earnings of EUR 1.3 million for 2015 (2014: EUR 4.0 million). After impairments the Group posts a net result of EUR -135.5 million (2014: EUR 2.1 million). Operating cashflow rose in the 2015 financial year by 32.3 percent to reach EUR 273.4 million.

As at 31 December 2015 the Rickmers Group’s equity was EUR 555.4 million (2014: EUR 651.3 million) and the net financial debt was EUR 1,849.1 million Euro (2014: EUR 1,648.0 million). The equity ratio amounted to 19.3 percent following 23.4 percent the previous year.

In the Rickmers-Linie business segment the Rickmers Group operates as a shipping line for breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargo, and additionally offers individual voyages.
