Rickmers Group statement: Rickmers reconfirms forecast for 2015 financial year

Hamburg, 29 January 2016 – Despite the persistently challenging market conditions the Rickmers Group has reconfirmed its positive forecast for the financial year 2015 with regard to revenues and EBITDA, having now closed the financial year; this is in line with the outlook already communicated in the Half-Year Report 2015. Against the background of the positive effects of the USD / EUR exchange rate and in particular the sustainable turnaround of Rickmers-Linie, the Rickmers Group assumes a single-digit percentage improvement in revenues, a double-digit increase in EBITDA, and a corresponding improvement in cash flow from operating activities. Adjusted for negative effects related to extraordinary impairments on shipping assets, the net profit of Rickmers Group as at the close of the financial year on 31.12.2015 is expected to be at the previous year’s level. The finalisation of the annual audit carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently scheduled for 29 February 2016. The publication of the audited annual figures for 2015 is presently set for 14 March 2016, whilst the comprehensive Annual Report 2015 will be available from 30 March 2016.
