SPIRIT ON MEDIA GROUP PLC, London, today announced the successful
conclusion of its capital increase for cash, which was the subject of a
resolution at its Extraordinary General Meeting on 15 December 2008. In
this connection, ALV AG, which has been the company's largest shareholder
to date, subscribed for 100 million new registered shares for a total of
GBP 250,000. SPIRIT ON MEDIA GROUP PLC's issued share consists of 120
million shares following the registration of the capital increase.
Admission of the new shares for trading in the Open Market of the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange will occur immediately. ALV AG placed all the new shares
among private equity and institutional investors. As a consequence of the
successful conclusion of the capital increase, SPIRIT ON MEDIA GROUP PLC
has created a solid financial basis for the rapid implementation of its
growth strategy.
