United Signals offers Investment Opportunities for Global Megatrends
Automated Asset Management for theme based Investments
Frankfurt am Main, 15th of November 2016
The Frankfurt based Direct-Asset-Management company United Signals has extended its product range of passive ETF-portfolios: It now offers theme based investment opportunities. Clients can choose to invest in themes, which are based on one or more than one global megatrend. For the implementation iShares’ index funds are used, which also offer the customer a very cost-effective investment solution.
“We are pleased to provide clients with additional exciting investment opportunities at United Signals. Megatrends have the potential to make changes in all areas of personal life and can release enormous forces with global effects. Our new three Megatrend portfolios provide investors with an attractive opportunity to invest on the basis of themes and thus benefit from long-term trends and the associated yield growth. Investors can thus further diversify their existing portfolio with the investment themes, of which they are convinced the most.”, says Daniel Schäfer, founder and CEO of United Signals.
The focus is on demographic change, digitalization and technological breakthrough
The offer includes three different ETF portfolios built with iShares funds: Global Megatrends, Megatrend Demographic Change and Megatrend Technology. Up to four different investment themes are addressed in these portfolios. The focus in the technology portfolio highlights digitalization and automation as well as robotics. The Portfolio Demographic Change, on the other hand, focuses on the aging population and pioneering developments in the health care sector. The investment themes are reflected in shares of iShares’ global corporate ETFs. Through these ETFs, clients can invest in numerous companies globally, whose own business development influences the development of one or more of the themes.
“Megatrends affect how we live and work. These ETFs take advantage of the opportunities, that can arise from long-term structural trends, by focusing on companies that are most focused on these trends. We are looking forward to expand our collaboration with United Signals with this new offering. This enables investors to translate their perception of these trends into a portfolio in a transparent, global and cost-efficient manner.”, says Christian Bimueller, Vice President of Wealth Sales from iShares, Germany.
A familiar cost-effective investment format thanks to an attractive fee model
United Signals offers the same core pricing model, graduated by the invested capital, as before for the ETF-portfolios, using services charges between 0,29% p.a. and 0,49% p.a. (plus banking- and ETF-charges), which makes a very cost-effective investment possible. From 5.000 Euros onwards investors can already invest into one of the new portfolios and manage their portfolio individually and automatically, using the intelligent rebalancing tool developed by United Signals.
