Visiocorp PLC / Change of Personnel Release of a Corporate News, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG. Further to Visiocorp’s announcement on 7 November 2008 regarding its strategic review and possible sale, Dr. Schefenacker has made an approach to the Board seeking permission to explore the possibility of making an offer for the Company. Given the potential conflict of interest that such a role could generate with respect to his position as a Director of Visiocorp, Dr. Schefenacker has indicated that in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders he is standing down from the Board with immediate effect. There can be no guarantee that this approach will lead to an offer being made for the issued ordinary share capital of the Company, or that any transaction will be recommended by the Board or consummated. Visiocorp, based in Portchester, UK, was created in 2007 from the former Schefenacker AG and the Engelmann Group GmbH and has 19 factories across the world.
