St. Gallen/Düsseldorf – June 5, 2013 Nico Helling, former Managing Director at Montagu Private Equity GmbH, Düsseldorf, as well as Partner and Director at Montagu Private Equity LLP, London, joins Vorndran Mannheims Capital (‘VMCap’) as of June 1, 2013, as Partner. This increases the VMCap’s leadership team to five Partners. Nico Helling is a senior private equity professional with an aggregated transaction track record exceeding EUR 4.5 billion. Having started out as Manager at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance and later as Partner at UBS Capital GmbH, Nico Helling joined Montagu Private Equity in 2002. As Managing Director of the German office he oversaw Montagu’s investment activities in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland. This role covered the full private equity value chain from acquisitions to value creation management throughout the holding period and value realization through exit management. Nico Helling was a member of Montagu’s management committee, the investment committee and the portfolio committee.
