The IPO price of the current issued 20,000,000 shares was EUR 2.20. The free float is approximately 37%, the remaining shares are being held by the Management of Worldwide Energies Inc. and by strategic investors. Worldwide Energies Inc. – an American energy explorer Worldwide Energies Inc. was founded on November 5, 2004 as an independent investment company focusing on oil and gas exploration. The company’s core business is the acquisition, development and exploitation of oil and gas fields in the USA. Worldwide Energies Inc. mainly invests in already existing oil and gas exploration projects or projects that can be realized rapidly and especially in innovative technologies with a wide application spectrum. The company with its residence in Dover in the American Federal State of Delaware is conducting its business only in the USA with its well-developed infrastructure, close-by sales markets and stable social and political structures. The company’s particularly low internal cost is due to lean internal processes and the exploitation of value adding potentials right at the source. Worldwide Energies Inc. spreads its entrepreneurial risk by investing in a well balanced risk-portfolio in projects in various development stages, including risky new exploration projects, the so-called 'wildcat-projects', the reactivation of historical wells, the so-called 're-entry' with medium risk profile and also in low-risky already producing wells. In West-Pennsylvania, in the 'Appalachian Basin', Worldwide Energies Inc. invests in a natural gas field with proven gas reserves. In the past years, drilling for gas had a 100 % success rate in this area and gas has already been extracted in this region for some time. The project partner of Worldwide Energies Inc. acquired the exploration rights for an area of approximately 26,000 ha from the relevant land owners. Worldwide Energies Inc. is currently holding an option for 50 % of the proceeds from 10 drillings and, according to internal planning, is expecting a return-on-investment of approximately 30-35 %. If this projection can be met, all costs would be covered by about three years. The assumed average extraction period of the wells is 25 years. The increasing commodity prices and a growing demand for primary energies will give a great turnover potential waiting for Worldwide Energies Inc..
