Frankfurt, December 4, 2009 - BankM - representative office of biw Bank
fuer Investments und Wertpapiere AG successfully concluded a capital
increase for Berlin based Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG
(ISIN DE0005659700, Prime Standard, EUZ). The subscription period of this
rights issue ended on December 3, 2009. 1,350,000 new shares were placed to
the shareholders of the company and interested, international investors
within the framework of a private placement at a subscription price of
15.95 EUR each. The company has increased its capital stock by 34.5%.

BankM - biw AG was sole lead manager and sole bookrunner in this issue.

With the capital gross inflow of around 21.5 million EUR into the company
that will be used in particular for the extension of the Environmental
Services segment as well as any arising acquisition opportunities.

Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG was founded in Berlin in
1997 and focuses on advanced technologies in the field of radioisotopes.
With its approx. 520 employees Eckert & Ziegler is one of the largest
producers of radioactive components for science, medicine and industry
