Bauma 2022: Maxam at the world’s largest trade fair for construction industry Tire manufacturer launches innovative EcoPoint3 tires in special ambience
Frankfurt, October 17, 2022 At the 33rd World’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, international tire manufacturer Maxam will be showcasing its flagship products and solutions in the OTR sector and, as a subsidiary of the Chinese tire group Sailun, will be opening another chapter in its success story. From October 24 to 30, Maxam will be presenting the highlights of its innovative EcoPoint3 tire family at the exhibition center in Munich-Riem. In addition to its ambitious growth ambitions, the trade show presentation will focus on a wide range of solutions and answers to the increasing demands in the field of tire management for modern construction vehicles. The aim of the Maxam brand is to present itself as the first choice for companies in the construction industry in this highly competitive segment, especially in times of rising energy costs. “Cost-effectiveness is increasingly becoming a success factor in the construction industry, too, as raw material prices rise. Our vision for the clean global mobility of tomorrow has convinced not only our customers, but also the international trade press, thus acknowledging the performance, durability and efficiency of our EcoPoint3 tire range as well as the innovative strength of our Group,” says Courtland Scott Michaels, Vice President Europe & Russia CIS at Maxam, in the run-up to Bauma, which is being held for the first time since 2019.
World premieres, prototypes, concept studies: What is shown as a trend at Bauma in Munich is the standard of tomorrow – on a total of 200,000 square meters of hall space and 420,000 square meters in the outdoor area. And right in the middle of it all is Maxam: In Hall A6, Booth 324, numerous Maxam experts from the Chinese tire manufacturer are looking forward to entering into direct dialog with companies and visitors. Because Maxam presents itself on its scarcely 100 square meters large exhibition booth away from the pure presentation of its tire assortment, to a consulting center for its rapidly rising number of for mining and building industry dedicated. The presence of Chinese tire manufacturer Maxam at this year’s Bauma underscores its future ambitions in terms of resource conservation and the development and production of tires to improve its carbon footprint. “Maxam’s presence at the world’s largest trade show for construction vehicles supports our growth objectives in industrial applications,” said Courtland Scott Michaels, vice president Europe & Russia CIS at Maxam. “At the same time, as one of around 3,000 exhibitors here in Munich, we want to take the opportunity, especially in times of sustainable approaches, to recommend ourselves on the international stage as an innovative and customer-oriented solution provider,” said Stephan Cimbal, Director Marketing Maxam Sailun Group Europe. Another focus of Maxam’s presence at Bauma in Munich will be its innovative range of tires for on-the-road and off-the-road construction machinery tires based on EcoPoint3 technology. Maxam is therefore devoting a great deal of attention to industrial products based around the EcoPoint3 tire generation for construction machinery and construction vehicles. The motto: EcoPoint3 tires withstand the toughest conditions. Independent international experts are also convinced of the advantages of the EcoPoint3 tire range over tires from direct premium competitors. Reason enough why Courtland Scott Michaels, Vice President Europe & Russia CIS at Maxam, is pursuing ambitious goals with the Maxam brand in the coming years, especially in Europe, and wants to score points with cost-conscious companies with the extensive Maxam range and help them gain a real competitive advantage and thus further growth. “We don’t just offer tires, but under the Maxam label, sustainable solutions that our customers can rely on. Our formula for success is: intelligent, smart technology, a plus in sustainability and a high-quality brand experience.” In addition to product quality in terms of driving comfort and fuel economy, core topics include the use of renewable raw materials and the economical use of resources in the development, manufacture and production of the new Maxam tire generations, he said. Maxam will also be presenting its current range of tires to the international audience at Bauma in Munich with an impressive guest from the construction industry: The M966 CAT wheel loader, in combination with the latest generation of Maxam tires, not only offers an increase in driver efficiency and productivity, but also guarantees reliability, durability and versatility. “Maxam Tire is a leading global manufacturer of OTR and specialty tires known for premium quality, reliability and high utility. Our tires are used by some of the largest mining companies in the world and are approved as OE tires by Caterpillar, the world’s leading heavy equipment manufacturer, among others,” said Stephan Cimbal, Director Marketing Maxam Sailun Group Europe. The tire manufacturer Maxam is also using Bauma 2022 in Munich as a stage for exchanging information about tire products – with advice, customized systems, service and tools with which not only fleet operators can reduce their operating costs. Thus, with high-ranking experts on site, Maxam offers its visitors and guests impressive insights into the brand’s ambitions, investments and goals through dialogue. And all this in an innovative ambience: for the first time, a mobile Airstream branded in the Maxam design will be used as a starting and meeting point – after all, the design of the Maxam Airstream also has advantages in terms of straight-line running, crosswind susceptibility and track stability. And that’s what also makes the design icon unique; because it gives the Airstream – like Maxam tires with EcoPont3 technology – approximately 20 percent lower fuel consumption than a comparable square trailer. “Today in particular, these aspects are becoming more important than ever everywhere, because you help save fuel while increasing safety with unparalleled durability. Few products have proven similar durability over the years. Just like Airstreams, Maxam tires are designed to serve their owners well for years to come,” says Stephan Cimbal, Director Marketing Maxam Sailun Group Europe, adding in advance of the beginning of Bauma in Munich. “As part of the Sailun Group, one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world, currently ranked 15th in 2022, Maxam wants to underline its new pioneering role at Bauma 2022 also in its trade show appearance.” The success of Maxam Europe, among others, is built on this strong foundation of the group’s parent company Sailun. In addition, the international customers of the construction machinery and construction vehicle industry appreciate the reliability of delivery dates and the high level of security in the supply of state-of-the-art tires. And finally, Maxam Europe in particular is growing at an above-average rate on the basis of the revolutionary EcoPoint3 tire technology.
