Fidecum AG: Anko Beldsnijder joins Fidecum (news with additional features)
Anko Beldsnijder joins Fidecum Bad Homburg, December 2nd, 2015 – Going into the new year 2016, Fidecum is proud to expand its line-up with an additional mutual fund. The Avant-Garde Stock fund, a quality growth investment approach with a distinct and proven track record, was formerly managed by Anko Beldsnijder at MainFirst Bank and will now be transferred to Fidecum. Anko Beldsnijder also moves across to Fidecum, together with his co-manager Richard Burkhardt, and will continue to manage the fund, ensuring continuity and model consistency going forward. The fund will keep the same ISIN-code. Beldsnijder has managed the Avant-Garde Fund since 2004. He formerly worked together with Hans-Peter Schupp at MainFirst, where Schupp was the Head of Asset Management until he left the company in 2007. Hans-Peter Schupp, managing partner at Fidecum and portfolio manager of the Fidecum Contrarian Value Euroland Fund, is excited by the arrival of the Avant-Garde Stock Fund which will broaden the Fidecum offering with an additional quality product. “I am looking forward to a sound and constructive co-operation with Anko here at Fidecum. Over 23 years he has built his career in the professional equities business. After his graduation he started in 1992 as a portfolio manager at Credit Suisse, Zürich. He then moved on to ABN Amro in Amsterdam where he took responsibility for European equities and became the Head of the European Small Cap Team. As an active portfolio manager he was also responsible for the ABN Amro German Equity Fund, the ABN Amro Europe Fund and for many institutional mandates. In 2004 he joined MainFirst Asset Management in Frankfurt and started the Avant-Garde Fund. He was the lead manager for the quality growth investment style and became a partner of the firm in 2008. Fidecum AG is an independent investment management boutique, offering professional investors mutual funds and special mandates as a tool for their asset allocation.
