Strichpunkt takes off: office in Berlin-Mitte, 60% sales increase
Strichpunkt Agentur für visuelle Kommunikation GmbH / Key word(s): Enterprise/
Good news from the south for the north: the Stuttgart-based design agency Strichpunkt is opening a local office in the Hackescher Markt, Berlin on 1 October. The expansion is no coincidence: like no other design studio, the Stuttgart agency has been at the cutting edge of the international creative scene for 10 years and was the only German agency to receive the Corporate Design Award in Gold and eleven red dot awards in July this year. In February, the agency HunterLebron in Diessen near Munich was taken over. For the current financial year, Strichpunkt CEO and ADC Chairman Jochen Rädeker projects an increase in fee revenue in excess of 60% on the year before: 'The business with existing and new customers is going exceedingly well and growing sustainably – the reluctance to invest long-term in the communication of corporate values is definitely over.' Strichpunkt-co-owner Kirsten Dietz, the German representative on the Cannes 2011 design jury: 'We look forward to the creative impulses from Berlin. With the new site, we have strengthened Strichpunkt as an attractive employer – for the 40 colleagues in Stuttgart and at Ammersee as well as for the new team in Berlin. The offices will work closely together – something which strengthens all the locations and promotes creative exchange and output. ' Strichpunkt supports companies such as EnBW, WMF Group, Vorwerk and Scheufelen as the world's CD lead agency and is Germany's market leader in the creation of annual reports for DAX companies. The client list here includes Adidas, BASF, Metro Group, MunichRe, as well as our new customer Merck, along with companies such as Hugo Boss, Solar World and TÜV Süd. Strichpunkt has also made a name for itself by supporting cultural institutions, museums and foundations such as Aktion Mensch, the State Theatre in Stuttgart or new customers such as the Baden-Wuerttemberg Foundation and the Art Museum in Bochum.
