Byron Katie in Europe: How to step out of your mind and into life with ‘The Work’
Step out of your mind – and into real life!
In a rare appearance, Byron Katie will return to Vienna for a full-day event as part of her European events Vienna, 9. May 2016 – Byron Katie would love for everyone to experience her simple yet powerful process of self-inquiry, called The Work, and to create a more peaceful world, inside and outside. In this full-day workshop, which will take place in Vienna on 16 July 2016, participants will learn how to unravel the thoughts making them unhappy. This unravelling allows the mind to return to its awakened, peaceful, creative nature. Anyone with an open mind can reduce stress and pain by applying The Work. Katie will take questions and do The Work with audience members on any issue, from relationships and money to politics, justice and the state of the planet. The Work is a way of identifying and questioning the thoughts that cause all the suffering in the world. It consists of four questions and the turnarounds, which allow the mind to experience the opposite of what it believes. Through self-inquiry, the mind comes to understand how what hurts us are our thoughts about the world, not the world itself. Since Katie hasn’t been in Vienna for several years, this will be a rare opportunity to experience her and learn her way to freedom. Right after the event, Katie will also be available for a short book-signing session. Tickets can be bought here: http://www.turnitaround.at/en/event/byron-katie/ “Nothing you believe is true. To know this is freedom.” Byron Katie “Katie’s events are riveting”, writes The Times of London; “her laser-like tough love burns away all illusions”.
