Frankfurt am Main, 10. Juli 2000 – Die Gontard & MetallBank AG,
Frankfurt am Main, ist eine vorbörsliche Beteiligung in Höhe von 5 Prozent
an der Paraworld AG, Dieburg, eingegangen. Der Börsengang des Technologie-
Unternehmens ist für das Jahr 2001 geplant, wobei eine Notierungsaufnahme
am Neuen Markt angestrebt wird.
Die Paraworld AG ist Anbieter und Lizenzgeber einer innovativen, auf
vielschichtige und hohe Leistungsanforderungen ausgelegten Technologie-
Plattform. Diese ermöglicht mit ihrer selbstentwickelten Grundtechnologie
(Paraworld Engine) Unternehmen die Erstellung von Internet- und
Intranetsoftware mit nahezu unbegrenzten Interaktionsmöglichkeiten
(Multi-User-Technologie).
Mit rund 55 festen Mitarbeitern will die 1999 gegründete Paraworld AG im
laufenden Geschäftsjahr (01.07.2000 bis 30.06.2001) einen Umsatz von rund
sechs Mio Euro (Vj.: 3,0) erzielen. Das Unternehmen unterhält neben dem
Hauptsitz in Dieburg Niederlassungen in Hamburg, Singapur und Seattle.

* Gontard & MetallBank acquires pre-IPO stake of 5% in Paraworld AG
Frankfurt am Main, 10th July 2000 – Gontard & MetallBank AG, the
Frankfurt-based investment bank has acquired a 5% equity stake in
Paraworld AG, Dieburg ahead of the technology company’s flotation.
Paraworld is planning an initial public offering in 2001 and will seek a
listing in the Neuer Markt segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Paraworld offers and licenses an innovative technology platform tailored
to meet multi-level and high performance standards. With the aid of its
proprietary basic technology (Paraworld Engine), this enables client
companies to manufacture both internet and intranet software that offer an
almost unlimited potential for interactive use (multi-user technology).
Founded in 1999 Paraworld currently has a permanent staff of 55 employees
and will achieve a turnover of approximately EURO 6 million in the current
year (1st July 2000 to 30th June 2001) compared with EURO 3.0 million in
the previous period. Alongside its head office in Dieburg on the outskirts
of Frankfurt, the company has further offices in Hamburg, Singapore
and Seattle.
