ELAXY AG auf Anhieb eine der profitabelsten
Softwareschmieden
Vorstoß in neue Märkte und Internationalisierung
Bad Nauheim, 19. September 2000) Die Heyde AG hat im Zuge
der Neuorganisation des Gesamtkonzerns als eigene
Softwarefirma die ELAXY AG, Bad Nauheim, gegründet. Sie
entsteht aus der Verschmelzung der Heyde-Töchter Atzlinger
GmbH, FINEC GmbH, IT Warehouse AG und Turck GmbH. Die
Gesellschaft erwirtschaftet im laufenden Jahr
voraussichtlich einen Umsatz von 46 Millionen DM und ein
Vorsteuerergebnis von 12 Millionen DM. Mit einer
Vorsteuerrendite von 26 % zählt ELAXY damit auf Anhieb zu
den profitabelsten Softwarehäusern Europas. Im Vorjahr
hatten die Vorläufergesellschaften in Summe Umsätze von 34,4
Millionen DM und ein Vorsteuerergebnis von knapp 9 Millionen
DM ausgewiesen. Für 2001 ist ein Umsatz- und Gewinnwachstum
um rund 25 % geplant.
Nach Unternehmensangaben setzen mehr als die Hälfte aller
deutschen Geldinstitute für ihr Customer Relationship
Management, die Kundenbetreuung in der Filiale, im Call
Center oder im Internet, ELAXY-Produkte ein. Das ELAXY
Realtime Banking System ist das derzeit einzige am Markt
erhältliche Echtzeit-Wertpapierhandelssystem. Es wird
derzeit von zehn Banken in Deutschland und Österreich
eingesetzt, Projekte zu seiner Einführung bei zwei
spanischen Banken sind angelaufen.
Den Vorsitz des Aufsichtsrats hat Matthias Sohler inne. Der
Vorstand besteht derzeit aus dem Vorsitzenden Dr. Holger
Kleingarn und Vertriebsvorstand Stefan Schnitzler. Im
Vordergrund steht ab sofort der Ausbau der Marktanteile in
Deutschland und die weitere Internationalisierung des
Geschäfts.

Bad Nauheim, September 19, 2000 Heyde AG has founded ELAXY
AG, Bad Nauheim, as its own software company in the course
of the Group’s reorganization. ELAXY AG is the result of the
merger between the Heyde subsidiaries Atzlinger GmbH, FINEC
GmbH, IT Warehouse AG and Turck GmbH. The company is
expected to generate sales of DM 46 million and EBT of DM 12
million in the current year. With a pre-tax return of 26%,
ELAXY has immediately become one of the most profitable
software companies in Europe. Its predecessor companies
reported total combined sales for the previous year of
DM 34.4 million and EBT of just under DM 9 million. A growth
in sales and profits of around 25% is planned for 2001.
According to the company, more than half of all German
banking institutions are using ELAXY products for their
customer relationship management and customer support at
their branches, call centers or on the Internet. The ELAXY
real-time banking system is currently the only real-time
securities trading system available on the market. It is
currently used by ten banks in Germany and Austria, while
projects for its introduction at two Spanish banks have
begun.
As Chairman of the Managing Board serves Dr. Holger
Kleingarn, Stefan Schnitzler is member of the Managing Board
with responsibility for sales. The next steps will include
to expand the company’s share of the German market and
further internationalize its business. The Chairman of the
Supervisory Board is Matthias Sohler.
