Ad hoc-Meldung
LIPRO übertrifft Halbjahresziele deutlich
Günstige Auftragslage im Lizenzgeschäft mit Supply Chain Management-Software
Berlin, 23. August 2000: Das Softwarehaus LIPRO AG hat im II. Quartal 2000
Quartal in

LIPRO Significantly Surpasses Goals for First Six Months
Favorable orders situation in license business with supply chain management
software
Berlin, August 23, 2000: The software house LIPRO AG generated sales totaling
DM 9.4 million in the second quarter of 2000 and surpassed its own goals by 18%.
For the first time since the IPO, LIPRO was able to enter into the profit zone
in the second quarter and recorded earnings of DM 0.9 million (EBT).
With respect to the first six months of the year, the company’s sales revenues
totaled DM 12.4 million, which is DM 1.7 million higher than planned. The EBT
was negative at
DM 1.7 million, but this position is also far better than anticipated.
Originally, LIPRO had expected a DM 3.2 million loss for the first half of
the year. The development of orders was considerably more favorable
than projected at more than DM 32 million.
The positive overall situation is primarily a result of the rapidly growing
license business and the successful cooperation with system integrators.
Because no other company in the world offers a product like LIPRO’s standard
software for supply chain management on a plant-to-plant basis (P2P),
LIPRO has been able to penetrate market segments that in the past were
controlled by suppliers of ERP systems. The market introduction in the USA,
where LIPRO solutions are considered ideal for e-manufacturing, is planned
for the second half of the year.
These interim results form a solid basis for LIPRO AG to conclude the first
year after going public on the Neuer Markt with a profit of around
DM 3.6 million (EBT). Sales are expected to reach DM 35 million, nearly
four times the amount generated in 1999.
