Ad-hoc Mitteilung
LIPRO erreicht im 2. Quartal Gewinnzone
Millionen Lizenzgeschäft mit LIPRO-Software für Supply Chain Management
Berlin, 03. Juli 2000: Das Softwarehaus LIPRO AG erreicht im 2. Quartal
DM (EBT)
abzuschließen.

Ad hoc announcement
LIPRO Reaches Profit Zone in Second Quarter
DM million licensing deal with software for supply chain
Berlin, 03 July 2000: For the first time since its initial public offering,
in the second quarter the software company LIPRO AG reached the profit zone.
With sales of DM 7.958 million and an earning before taxes of DM 220,000,
goals for the quarter were at minimum met or even exceeded. New orders
with a volume of DM 25,4 million have been aquired. In comparison with
the first quarter of year 2000 this means four times more new oders.
Contributions to this good result were made fundamentally by contracts
with systems integrators about licenses for LIPRO-software for
supply chain management (SCM), by an agreement with
SMS Dataplan GmbH & Co. KG (Eschborn), about the integration
of LIPRO-software LS Financials into its software solutions for
health care settings and by a further DM million deal about
Application Service Providing (ASP) in the individual software business segment
of LIPRO.
The progress in the business of LIPRO is to be attributed to the growing
demand for standard-software for SCM at the basis of plant-to-plant (p2p)
that is unique in the global scale. This software is considered especially
in the USA as an ideal solution for efficient supply chain management.
With the second quarter result, LIPRO AG is coming one step closer
to its goal of nearly quadrupling sales in the year 2000 compared
to last year’s DM 35 million and to closing out the fiscal year with
a profit of DM 3.634 million (EBT).
