Systemintegratoren verdreifacht. Besonders wichtig
ist die soeben abgeschlossene Vereinbarung mit dem
weltweiten Marktführer bei Software für
Kunden-Management (CRM) Siebel Systems.
Die LIPRO Holding AG wird die gegenwärtigen
Umbrüche am Markt für Unternehmens-Software konsequent
für ihre eigene Marktexpansion nutzen. Dazu sollen

LIPRO Holding AG Ahead of Budget
According to the quarterly report it published today,
the software house LIPRO Holding AG reached its targets
in all essential positions in the first quarter of 2000.
In some cases it even significantly surpassed them.
The company received orders in the value of DM 6.4 million,
DM 1 million more than projected. Sales revenues were
10.4 percent above the target at DM 3 million. The share
from license sales was 16.7 percent. LIPRO AG generated
no less than 12% of its sales through its foreign subsidiaries
in Russia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. The consolidated
result was negative as expected at DM -2.65 million,
but was DM 0.85 million or a full 24% better than projected.
The company spent DM 0.5 million on investments and
DM 3.2 million on research and development. Since
the beginning of the year, eleven new employees have joined
the workforce, which now totals 192 persons.
LIPRO’s clear positioning has provided the conditions
for this positive development. As a technology leader
in supply chain management (SCM) and e-manufacturing,
it is the successor for the software products of Comet and Baan.
As a consequence, the number of international partners and
cooperating system integrators has tripled. The agreement
just concluded with Siebel Systems, the global market leader
in customer management software (CRM), is especially significant.
LIPRO Holding AG will take conscious advantage the radical
changes currently affecting the market for corporate software
for its own market expansion. In this interest, investments
are to be stepped up in the course of the year. Nonetheless,
the company’s goal is still to reach the profit zone in
the year 2000, realize the targeted EBIT of DM 3.6 million,
and generate sales of DM 35 million.
