mb Software gibt Quartalsergebnis bekannt
– Umsatz plus 128%
– EBITDA plus 73%
– Hohe Investitionen ins Internet-Geschäft
Hameln, 29.
wichtigen Grundstein gelegt”, sagte Mursch.
DM.

mb Software announces Quarterly Results
– Turnover up by 128%
– EBITDA up by 73%
– Large Investments in the Internet Business
Hamlin, February 29, 2000 – mb Software AG has experienced continued growth
during the 3rd quarter of the current business year 1999/2000. Compared to the
same time period of the preceding year, turnover was raised by 128% to 35.5 Mio
DM, slightly exceeding the forecast rate. Results before interest, taxes and
depreciation (EBITDA) were raised by 73% to 6 Mio DM. Massive investments in the
expansion of the Internet Business were made during this quarter which,
according to the Chairman of the Managing Board, Bernhard Mursch, are expected
to show results already in the near future. An important foundation was laid
with the investments made in the market introduction of the 02C-Player, and
developing the Clip-Art-Gallery ‘3D4me’, said Mursch.
The recently concluded cooperation agreement with infor business solutions AG
(WKN 622540) confirms the soundness of this consistent strategy. For their new
eCommerce solution, the market leader for comprehensive business management
solutions for the manufacturing industry is planning to use the 02C-technology
exclusively for all 3D-visualizations.
The cooperation agreement, concluded at the CeBIT Trade Fair today, with OAR
Consulting AG (WKN 687080), market leaders in eProcessing, marks another
important step towards a successful implementation of the mb-Internet Business.
The 02C-technology by mb will be an integral part of the eProcessing standard
software interact! which integrates all the core applications of the Internet –
Content, Community, and Commerce – into a management system.
The large investments made in the Internet Business, together with the
scheduled Goodwill-Depreciation for the companies which were taken over, as well
as the costs incurred for preparing the Going Public of the 100%-owned
affiliated company RIB Software, all contributed, as in the previous year, to a
negative quarterly result of -1.7 (-1.1) Mio DM before taxes. But the scheduled
Going Public of RIB alone, will make a significant contribution to the result
already in the year 2000. In addition, several more affiliated companies are
expected to go public. During the first nine months of the current business
year, mb turned over 64.0 (50.1) Mio. DM. The EBITDA for this period amounts
to 8.9 (11.9) Mio. DM and results before taxes are -3.4 (2.7) Mio. DM.
