The issuer has the sole responsibility of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Rösch AG further develops its Dental division The expectations placed by Rösch AG Medizintechnik (SIN 529140), Berlin, in the further development of the Dental division could be exceed by the acquisition of MDC GmbH and MDC GmbH & Co. KG and have substantially contributed to the company’s decision to take over the remaining shares of MDC. The sales success achieved is due largely to the extended high-quality product range and the joint strength in expertise and market presence. Not only has it been possible to establish a joint sales concept but also to communicate it convincingly and actively translate it into action on the relevant markets at national and international level. Rösch AG Medizintechnik had increased its participation in MDC GmbH and MDC GmbH & Co. KG to 86.7% at the end of February 2001. This was approved by the Annual General Meeting on November 28, 2000 and was achieved by means of a capital increase excluding the subscription rights of other shareholders. Now with a contract dated April 6, 2001 the remaining shares of the existing shareholders have been acquired at nominal value. Rösch AG Medizintechnik is thus sole shareholder of MDC GmbH and MDC GmbH & Co.KG.
