AS 'Rigas kugu buvetava' has signed a new shipbuilding contract and rejects
information reported in media about the financial results of 2014 

On February 12, 2015 AS 'Rigas kugu buvetava' (Riga Shipyard) has signed a
shipbuilding contract with Norwegian company in amount of EUR 825 000.00. The
payment is made in stages according to the completed works. This contract is
for one vessel, but in the very near future it is planned to continue
cooperation with this company and to enter into contracts for another two
vessels. 

This is yet another shipbuilding contract with a Scandinavian shipping company
that only confirms the quality of Riga Shipyard and improves the
competitiveness of the company in the international market of shipbuilding. 

At the same time the Board of Riga Shipyard rejects information reported in
media about the financial results of 2014 and cannot comment the origin of this
information, and considers this information as a provocation and disinformation
of the public. 

Riga Shipyard will publish the unaudited company's annual report of 2014
according procedure prescribed by law in which the results of the company's
performance will be reflected.
