AZEGO AG files for insolvency

Press Release according to § 15 WpHG

Munich, January 10th, 2008 – AZEGO AG (former ACG Advanced Component
Group), ISIN DE000A0PNL64 (former ISIN DE0005007702) today has filed for
insolvency because of illiquidity before the Munich Municipal Court. At the
same time the 100% subsidiary First Components GmbH also has filed for
insolvency because of illiquidity.

During the last two years AZEGO AG implemented several cost reduction
measures to reduce losses and to significantly increase its margins. But
even through its convertible loan 2007/2011 the company could not archive
the planned revenue of liquidity which would have been precondition to
continue the operating business. Therefore the company had to file for
insolvency following the banks’ notification after the expiration of the
subscription period of the convertible loan 2007/2011. The responsible bank
will invalidate the last tranche of the convertible loan 2007/2011.
The company expects that the court will appoint a provisional insolvency
administrator at short notice to continue the operational business.
