Carrier1 is in the midst of a re-alignment which requires greater cohesion and
focus of its sales and marketing activities, McTighe noted. Jim brings the
leadership, energy, passion and experience needed to take our pan-European and
U.S. sales organizations forward. I am very excited he has chosen to join us.
This is a challenging time in the telecom sector, but also one of great
opportunity, Brennan said. Carrier1 is well positioned to leverage these
opportunities by trimming and redeploying its sales force to capture more of its
best, most lucrative markets. Going forward, we will review margins achieved
from each product, review and revamp our product offerings and look to grow
relationships that broaden our base with our customers.
