In the second quarter of 2012, Comarch Software und Beratung AG, a
subsidiary of the Krakow-based international IT group Comarch S.A.,
achieved significantly better results than in the same period of the
previous year. Group sales totaled 11.5 million euros (previous year: 14.7
million) in the first half of 2012. This is broken down as follows:
standard software: EUR 6.8 million (previous year: 7.5); consulting: EUR
4.3 million (previous year:5.2); system integration: EUR 0.4 million
(previous year: 2.0). EBITDA for the first six months amounted to 0.1
million euros (previous year: -2.2 million) while EBIT was -0.9 million
euros (previous year: -4.1 million). The decrease in sales is mainly caused
by lack of sales in the system integration business unit, which is a result
of the company's strategic decision undertaken in the first quarter of 2012
to withdraw from this business area.

The standard software business unit - incorporating licensing and services
fees - posted sales totaling 6.8 million euros in the first half of 2012
(previous year: 7.5 million). In the second quarter of 2012 sales from the
software unit amounted to 3.2 million euros (previous year: 3.9 million).
The lower level of software sales in the first half of 2012 can be
explained by the extraordinarily high level of sales from Comarch ECM in
the first half of the previous year.

The consulting business unit - services and consulting linked to the
implementation and support of standard software - achieved sales revenues
totaling 4.3 million euros in the first half of 2012 (previous year: 5.2
million). The decline results from a smaller amount of new orders for those
services and from the smaller number of employees. In the second quarter of
2012 consulting revenues amounted to 2.2 million euros (previous year: 2.4
million).

Sales revenues for the system integration business unit - hardware and
services for IT infrastructure - amounted to 0.4 million euros in the first
half of 2012 (previous year: 2.0 million). The significant drop of sales in
this business unit is a result of the company's strategic decision
undertaken in the first quarter of 2012 to withdraw from this business
area. The reason for this decision was the very low profitability of this
business unit. In the next periods, this segment will have limited impact
on the company's development. In the second quarter of 2012, system
integration sales were 0.1 million euros (Q2/2011: 0.9).

The Management Board of Comarch Software und Beratung AG anticipates that
sales revenues in 2012 will be significantly lower - mainly because of the
limited activity in the system integration area. Simultaneously, results
should improve remarkably and the Group should not suffer considerable
losses as in previous years. On the day of preparing this report, the
Management Board anticipate that sales revenues in 2012 will reach the
level of EUR 25.4 million and that EBITDA will be around EUR 2,5 million.
